**I am not currently able to accept new clients**
Many of my professional roles have been centered around connecting with, caring for, and helping others. From working at a few different child care programs to being a Resident Advisor in college, I have always known the value of human connection and felt called to help others be the best versions of themselves, providing open-hearted, non-judgmental support along the way.
I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2016 with a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Women and Gender Studies. This is where I found my passion for helping others not only interpersonally but on a societal level as well. I then graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Social Work with an MSW and Certificate in Mental Health in 2019. I shortly thereafter moved back to Colorado.
I plan to start a Masters of Science in Thanatology program with Edgewood College in January 2024. This additional education will further develop my skillset and ability to provide services for individuals who are experiencing grief and loss of any kind.
I have lived in Colorado since 2008, and am proud to call this wonderful state home! In my free time, I love to spend time listening to audiobooks and true crime podcasts, watching documentaries, getting into nature, taking care of my plants, baking, spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, and caring for my Frenchie, Lucy.
I utilize a variety of modalities in my practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Attachment Based Therapy, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and a Solutions-Focused-Strengths-Based perspective. I believe that processing difficult emotions and life experiences, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, taps into our personal strengths and helps us to build resilience. I specialize in working with clients who experience depression and anxiety, as well as those who have experienced traumatic events. I have experience working with clients experiencing grief or loss, and I believe that grief is relevant to many clients' lives in ways we often do not consider. I focus on creating a positive therapeutic relationship, where we can get the hard work done, and also connect as humans. Such a relationship is vital to helping you achieve your goals and improving your quality of life.
I have experience facilitating individual, group, and family therapy to work through a variety of concerns. Such experience has allowed me to develop a depth of knowledge of the resources in the community and excellent problem solving skills to meet the needs of my clients, however creative the solution needs to be.
I employ an intersectional perspective when considering what larger issues may be impacting an individual. I am a passionate advocate for equity and social justice, and am open to working with individuals of all backgrounds. I value the ongoing growth and learning opportunities I have in this space, especially to be able to provide culturally competent services. I take pride in cultivating a safe space for everyone I connect with. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me for a free 15 minute consultation about your needs.
I am ready to help your mind shine!

That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the
words
And never stops—at all."
